Privacy Policy

Free AI and Agents - an app by Riemann Research. Last updated: 20 October 2026.

This page explains exactly what leaves your device when you use Free AI and Agents, and what we keep on our servers. There are no accounts, no signups, no passwords, no email collection, and no advertising trackers.

What the app sends

• Your request text (the prompt you type, and any chat history needed to answer it) is sent to our free inference gateway so a model can reply.
• Tool calls you or the model trigger (for example a web lookup) are sent as the tool name and its arguments - such as the URL to read or the search query.
• A random device identifier. It is a random value created on your device the first time you use the free allowance. It is not tied to your name, email, hardware serial, or any other identity. It exists only to count free usage per device.
• Your IP address is visible to any server you connect to, including ours.

If you add your own API key or your own web-search key, requests for that provider go directly from your device to that provider, under that provider's own privacy policy. We never see those requests or those keys.

What we keep on our servers

• Usage counters: how many tokens a device and an IP address have used, and when. Used only to enforce the free allowance and rate limits.
• Standard short-lived server logs (IP address, time, endpoint, byte counts) for abuse prevention and reliability.

We do not build profiles, we do not sell or rent data, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not log the contents of your prompts into long-term storage for anything other than normal request handling and troubleshooting.

Web tools

The web reading and web search tools are operated for us by Jina AI. When you use them, the page URL or search query is sent through our gateway to Jina. If you supply your own Jina key, requests go directly to Jina and bypass our gateway. The fetched page or search results are returned to your device and are not stored by us.

What stays on your device

• Your settings inside the app (for example a model choice, or your own API keys if you add them).
• Your chat history, stored where you keep your files.
• The random device identifier used for the free allowance.

Clearing the app's stored data removes the device identifier, which resets your anonymous free allowance on that device.

Third parties

Model providers that serve the free models may process your request text, and Jina AI processes web tool requests as described above. These providers receive only what is needed to answer the request. Our own infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services, and the website is served through Cloudflare.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and you should not use it if you are below the minimum age required in your country.

Your choices

You can use the app without the free allowance at any time by supplying your own keys. You can stop all data from leaving your device by not sending requests. Because there is no account, there is nothing to delete on our side beyond the anonymous usage counters noted above, which are short-lived.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
